I hired Elite Exteriors for a kind of odd job. I have 6 tall columns on my front porch & I found out from my pest control guy that when he went in the attic, he saw that the tops of the columns were completely open. There are cut outs on the bottoms of the columns outside on the porch so bugs (wasps) and possibly critters (mice) could enter the attic by flying up or climbing up the insides of the columns. (There are MANY paper wasp nests in the peaks on the inside of the attic – 6 possible entrances could have been these openings) This completely creeped me out so I found Elite Exteriors & am so happy I did! They were able to send 2 guys out within 1 week, and I was able to tell Scott via email exactly what I was looking for – I wanted a screen strong enough mice couldn’t chew through but with small enough holes wasps couldn’t fly through. He quoted me a rate & the guys went to Menards to buy all the items needed so they could get to work right when they got to my house. They were very professional & did a great job – even took a before and after photo on his cell phone to show me the work. I would definitely recommend this company!

We hired Elite Exteriors to do some repair work on our duplex in Wauwatosa. Old shingle siding was falling off in chunks, and we were really hoping to skate by one more winter with the current siding. They repaired it as best they could, given the circumstances. Since we were not quite happy with the initial repair, Scott was very understanding and went the extra mile for us. He beat our best quote for siding the entire place, and did EXCELLENT work in replacing our entire siding. IT WAS AMAZING !! Don’t waste your time searching like we did … you’ll be hard pressed to find a better solution. First off, Scott from Elite Exteriors was extremely helpful and very responsive throughout the entire process- beginning to end. Everything that he said they would do he made sure got done. We had an existing home that had poorly installed off-brand siding that was beginning to fail. I reached out to several siding companies and Elite Exteriors was the first to get back to me. The other companies responded days to weeks later. I worked directly with Scott. He helped us develop a plan for what we needed done and provided us with several different options and price points that fit our budget. His insight was invaluable, as several critical home improvements that we wanted to do in the future could be done for much less money if we simply had them done part way through our siding project. These were mainly installing windows in areas of the basement that we wouldn’t be finishing off until later. Having the windows installed after the old siding was torn off made a lot of sense and would save us from the headaches of having our Hardi Plank siding cut through and altered after the fact. The tear off stage went quickly. The workers were all courteous and diligent all while performing a very labor intensive job. Each day the work site was cleaned up. Their hours of working on site were during normal working hours so I my wife and I barely noticed they were there except at the beginning and end of the work day when we returned home. The thoroughness of the entire install process was truly remarkable. It began with the care that Elite took in wrapping the home with wrap especially designed for our siding. Each day more areas of our home were being covered with the both beautiful color combination that Scott helped us select. There were so many options to consider, but our ultimate decision couldn’t have turned out better. As the trim work progressed, we were immediately happy with our decision to bite the bullet and have the Hardi trim, soffit and fascia installed too. Everything fits together and matches perfectly. Even with calking was color matched to both our siding and trim! Our home literally looks like a brand new parade home. While my wife and I used to admire other people’s homes on our nightly walks, we now both agree that our home is by far our favorite home to look upon.

We knew we wanted Hardieboard, after researching various siding products. We evaluated several contractors, and after several discussions with each, we chose Elite Exteriors based on recommendations here, the Hardie website and general research, as well as the way that Scott Watry at Elite wanted to go about the work. He seemed the most thorough, detail-oriented and quality-driven. And he was all of these. Elite Exteriors is the only Hardie Certified “Elite Preferred” installer (the highest level installer certification Hardie provides) in the state. They are not the lowest cost, but I think they are the best choice if you are having Hardiboard installed. The devil is in the detail with any exterior siding project — any shortcuts taken in installation show up years later, so it just makes sense to hire someone who would follow the Hardie installation guidelines to the letter. We believed that Elite would provide attention to detail and quality that would produce superior results for years to come. We were not disappointed. The work went along steadily, and there was a crew on site every day possible until the work was complete. There was never a question about when they were coming back, or what they were doing next. When we asked about how or why something was done a given way, the answer always referred back to following Hardie specs, underscoring their adherence to correct process. I cannot point to an instance where we felt the work was less than the best available. Nick, the foreman, was very responsive and concerned that we were happy with the work, the crew, the condition of the site; he had our best interests at heart. Scott was on site a couple of days a week and following the job carefully. Any time I contacted him with questions or requests, they were taken care of promptly. The house looks really awesome, and inside it’s quieter and far less drafty. We are really happy with their work, and would use them without hesitation for future exterior jobs. Very highly recommended.

House looks AWESOME!!!! We have had quite a bit of remolding done over the 18 years living in this home and this was by far the best experience. The work crew was great. They worked very efficiently and had all cedar wood stripped, rotten wood replaced and the entire house wrapped in just three days! Always cleaned up the entire work place each evening. Extremely polite crew, always asking us if we had any concerns or questions, resolving any issues immediately (sealed around the entire chimney after the siding was up help another contractor who was fixing an old leak in the chimney stone). Very skilled craftsmen as well. They had to cut the hardiplank stucco into arch pieces to match what we had previously. It matched perfectly!!!
The entire job, including complete residing with hardiplank, making and painting new shutters to match the old ones,installing new gutters and downspouts took less than 3 weeks. They were here, weather permitting 5 or 6 days a week, never leaving to work on another job (we have had that happen to use with other remolding projects, “oh, we will be back in 2 days, we have to finish another project”). We have had so many complements on the house both from neighbors and guest. Highly recommend them!!

Prior to doing the Deck we used Elite Exteriors on the siding, roofing and windows of our new home. They had done such a nice job on the rest of the house we had them bid our desk along with a few others places we found on Angie’s list. Elite came in on the lower range of cost and based on their previous work we chose them to build our deck. Based on the recommendation from Dave and a few others we used Azek decking and railings. They walked us through the Pros and Cons on the different materials, color and fasteners. I didn’t know that there would be some many options. I am thankful I had someone knowledgeable helping us through these decisions.
The crew came in exactly when they said they would and did a great job with the install. They took care of everything for us from the stone and footings under the deck to the final touches to the railings. Everyday they cleaned up after themselves so I didn’t have to worry about my kids stepping on nails or screws. It was another great experience and I would recommend using Elite Exteriors.

Before installing siding Elite Exteriors blew insulation through the exterior walls into my wall cavities. It went great. They added a ton of insulation. I can feel the difference in my house already. A little messy job, but they did clean up well. The job took 1 day. Elite did a great job.

I met with Elite Exteriors about my siding project. I also met with 3 other contractors. What a difference…I by far felt more comfortable with Elite. They were very polite and very knowledgeable. Their price was the 2nd lowest. So 2 prices I got were higher and 1 was lower. It was an easy choice for me. I went with Elite. I also drove by about 20 of the homes they have already completed. It is a HardiPlank (James Hardie) job so I know how important installation is. They had over 100 homes for me to drive by just in my area. Most importantly they installed all the jobs. I felt confident they could do it right. They just finished the installation and I love it. They did everything they promised. They cleaned up daily. The quality of the work is GREAT. I LOVE IT!!! I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with contractors, but this was not one of them. A great job!

The job went GREAT! We don’t kill any animals. We believe in “Live and Let Live”. Elite Exteriors sent two siding specialists to our house to help us humanely evict field mice that had built a nest in or around the house wall. We had been dealing with signs of mice for 3 years. No “humane removal” service contractors would help us find them in the wall. They just wanted to set live traps on the outside of the wall, on our deck. Well, sorry, you are going to trap who-knows-what in the middle of the night, just necessarily just the mice in the wall! We heard the mice in the wall but never saw them in the house. So, my wife finally said, “Let’s get someone to pull off the vinyl siding and see if we can find them, starting on the outside of the house and working our way inward.” If, necessary, we were prepared to open up the drywall from the inside, if that is where the mouse trail led us. Well, SUCCESS was attained when the guys from Elite took off the external siding, both above and below the deck (hard work below the deck). We found that the mice had limited their nest building activities to the vertical
seam that joins two walls at a 90 degree angle. It was full of mouse-nest material. They hadn’t gone into the actual wall at all. They were between the vinyl siding and the house-wrap (TYVEK). They had an upper and lower exit and we think they vacated out the lower exit when we started taking off siding above the deck. We made sure none were around and then sealed the seam. The job lasted about an hour, not including their travel time from New Berlin to Franklin. We are glad Elite was willing and able to do the job. Other siding contractors did not want the job.

Elite Exteriors recently replaced our roof and gutters on our home. Scott was quick to respond to my calls and his father, Dave, came out to give us our quote within 2 days of my initial phone call. We were impressed with Dave’s knowledge. He priced the project very reasonably. When choosing Elite Exteriors, we knew we would be working with a company that had a family tradition of excellence. We also were impressed with the high quality product itself and the amazing warranty attached to the roof. Many of the other companies we had called for quotes did not offer the same high quality product or warranty. Our roof was put on in one day with little to no mess left behind. Our gutters were put on two days later. After the gutters were installed, we realized we did not like the color chosen. We immediately called Scott and he came out that afternoon to check on the color. He then helped us pick the perfect color, re-ordered the gutters, and installed the new color within a week at a tiny fraction of the original price. Elite Exteriors LLC responded to our initial request for an estimate promptly and courteously. The Elite representative was extremely helpful in assessing our needs for the exterior remodel, including forecasting potential problem areas due to the age, size, and condition of our 1938 home. The rep was also very forthright in sharing that a rubber roof on a three-season room would not need replacement at this time. We appreciated the reps honesty and cost-saving thoughtfulness. The cost estimate was very fair and competitive relative to other estimates we received. Feeling a little overwhelmed at the selection of the optimal color pick for the exterior, given a sizeable amount of fieldstone present, the rep helped us narrow our choices and upon our request shared his preference. We trusted his extensive experience with Elite and after viewing properties with that color choice (also remodeled by Elite), we excitedly went with his suggestion which turned out to be the perfect choice for our home. Work started in a timely manner with the replacement of thirty five windows taking two plus work days, in which we found the two installers to be very efficient and courteous. Clean-up was well done and their instructions regarding how to clean and work with the windows was much appreciated. There was additional necessary carpentry needed for some windows. This included replacing narrow jalousie windows with large casement and picture windows and other miscellaneous work (installation of an exterior door and a porch railing, as well as areas with rotted wood.) This work was done in an extremely professional and craftsman-like manner. Roofing and flashing issues were attended to by an Elite roofer after consultation with us. Any and all issues that arose were brought to our attention and addressed in a very timely and effective way. Work continued without these developments delaying the larger task of siding our one story 3400 square foot home. We were very pleased that the majority of these additional repairs or upgrades were done under the terms of the initial contract. The consequence of Elite Exteriors attention to detail, quality and expert craftsmanship has led to a new exterior that is pristine and flawless! Our older home now has a brand-new exterior and we are so thrilled and extremely happy with such beautiful results. Responsible for the larger exterior redo was the siding crew. Their task was large in that our home is broken into various segments, including various angled roof lines, gables and dormers In addition, there are exterior fieldstone and brick walls, as well as inset porches. Much cutting and attention to detail was required. Although the job took longer than predicted, the crew arrived and left each day in a timely way, picking up materials and leaving the property in a tidy fashion. The crew was informative, thoughtful, conscientious, and very friendly. We were comfortable leaving our home in the care of a house sitter for a trip out of state while only 1 1/2 weeks into the project, due to the trust and confidence we had with the crew. The quality of their work was equal to the high standards of the Elite carpentry crew. The head crewman was incredibly attentive to the protocols and details necessary to properly meet the HardiPlank specifications, and reinforced why Elite Exteriors LLC is the only Elite Preferred Hardie Remodeler in the state of Wisconsin. About five years ago I had talked with Elite Exteriors about my aging roof and they suggested I could wait a few years before needing a replacement. This year I asked them to come back out and take a look. They suggested it was time to replace them. Even though I was working with Elite Exteriors I had the roof bid out by a couple other companies. Between the different companies we defiantly would be getting more for our dollar with Elite Exteriors. Both Owner Dave and his son Scott were extremely knowledgeable. They came in ripped off the old roof and shingled it on the same day. It was a great experience. I was so impressed I had them both replace my bay window and fix some siding issues on the house.

While Dave was already at the house working on my roof I asked him to take a look at some rotting siding in the back of my house. He instantly found a problem with the flashing on the deck. The next week he had his son and a couple guys on the crew stop over, put all new flashing around the deck and replaced all the bad siding. They also walked around the house and replaced a number of other pieces. By the time they were done it looked like new. They did a great job matching the new and old pieces together and repainted the entire area. By looking at it you wouldn’t know there was ever a problem.

Dave walked me through the process and all the things that had to be done. Comparing his understanding to the others it seems clear that he was much more knowledgeable than the others. As with the other work they did for me they came and did the install exactly when they said they would and they did a beautiful job. The prior window was sagging and just looked bad. I called and left a message and about 5-10 mins later a man called back saying he was sorry he missed my call and what could he help with. I told him a friend suggested I call about my mothers roof either getting replaced or repaired. He said he could make it out either later that afternoon or the next morning to take a look. I told him the next day would work however I would not be there just my mother would be and if he had any questions to please call me. The next day he went and met with my mother. I will say I was nervous as sometimes a sales guy will try to talk a woman into whatever he can. That was not the case here. He was up front and honest and even called me after to fill me and answer any questions I had. After looking at the price to repair or replace we decided after talking to him that we would just repair. He was honest and said we could replace the roof but said if it was him he would just repair it why waste money when you do not have to which went along way. In today’s world it is nice to get an honest business man who will not try to pull one over on you. He set up the work for two days later and had it done that day. A few days later it rained and she had no issues which made her happy and me as well because I did not have to hear about it anymore. So thank you to them for that. I replaced my roof last year but would use this company again if I had to. Now she is thinking of getting her rain gutters replaced and so the process starts again. But at least we know who to call now.

My old windows leaked and didn’t shut/open correctly anymore. Now I have beautiful new windows that do things my old ones didn’t – open/shut and keep the outside weather outside. In the recent heat, it’s been wonderful to have windows I can shut and keep out the noise/heat from outside. The person who installed my windows did an excellent job. Dave measured my windows and ordered them. Another worker worked diligently to install them. He did a great job, working quickly and cleaning up after himself. I wanted an evaluation on my roof. All the homes in my older neighborhood are approximately the same age and I’ve noticed a great deal of them are getting roof replacements. Dave came out, checked out the roof, chimney flashing, etc. He said everything looked fine and that a roof replacement at this time was not necessary. Elite Exteriors replaced the roof and chimney on our duplex. The roof was approximately 21-22 square and needed a complete tear off of three layers – including the original shake. The chimney was rebuilt from just below the roof line. We originally asked for an estimate to just tuck point the chimney but it was well past that point. The roof was finished in two days. They were careful of our neighbors’ houses on either side of ours and cleaned up afterwards. The chimney took a little bit longer but no worries. Overall they did good work and charged a fair price. I can’t ask for more than that.

I was cleaning out my gutters when I noticed that some were bent, which was leading to leaves and anything else getting stuck in them. Also along the back of my house there was a hole causing water to leak out. I made the call on Friday to Elite Exteriors and as of yesterday they are fixed. It took maybe two hours or so to get the hole covered and to bend the gutter back into shape. I also got a quote for my siding while they were they so that when I am ready I can get both things replaced. I cannot say enough about Scott who came out and did a great job of letting me know what was needed and what I would be looking at in terms of fixing now vs replacing. A lot of times a company will try to just say you need everything new when that may not be the case, which makes me feel good to know yet again I made a great choice.

Along with some other home needs the Elite Exteriors crew installed some new windows on my dormers of my house. They installed double hung windows. They removed the old ones and disposed of all the garbage from the project. The new vinyl windows look great and now allow me to open the windows with ease.

I used this provider because of good reviews and because a colleague of mine recommended them. They had replaced his roof about a year ago. AFTER I signed the contract and work was to start my friend called to say that his roof had a leak after one year. Elite Exteriors did come right out to fix his roof again so they seemed to stand behind their work. I told Elite Exteriors about this and they assured me of what happened and that it was being fixed. We then went ahead with them on the job. They started on time. They subcontracted and most everyone on the job spoke nothing but Spanish. The job went really fast, with a huge crew. It seemed to go well. They cleaned everything up and so far it looks good and we have not had a problem with leaks. (It’s only been one month).

Fixed every one of my roofing needs, in a quick and very helpful matter. Not only where they up front about what was needed and what it would take but also very quick and professional. While other companies I received quotes from said 3-4 days for the work to be done it was able to be done in two days and ended up being a little less then I had expected, which is always a great thing to hear. I have a bigger roof so I was expecting a lot of clean up however again I was wrong. Last fall I called around to many companies looking for a quote on my roof that was having a issue leaking. After dealing with 6 or so different places about quotes many of which turned out to be what they call storm chasers I came upon Elite Exteriors through a friend who had used them. Not only did I get a next day quote but I also got a quick and painless date set up for my roof to be replaced. A few days later what looked to be a small army came ready to get the job done. A dumpster was brought in take off the two roofs that were on there and before I knew it they were done with that part of the job. Next up a truck came and loaded all the materials and they went to work. The following day they showed up early and put the final touches on. A big part of the job was making sure all the venting was right because whoever had the roof put on before done failed to do so. I now have vents in my bathrooms that work thank god as well as a vent along the whole roof to avoid issues going forward. The dumpster was picked up and the crew finished up the cutting along the edges and came down and explained everything. Warranty, types of products used, what I can expect going forward. While up there they also fixed some issues I was having with my rain gutters which save me time as well as money. This summer I am looking at having my house sided as the paint is chipping away in some areas. The first call I will be making when I become ready is to Elite Exteriors because we went from a winter in 2013 of being cold with the heat high to being able to turn that heat down and using the fireplace, which had been another issue. It turned out that the home inspector failed to tell us when we bought it that the chimney was not fully covered which led to some cold nights. This was all fixed when the new roof was put on because of the fact that they put the pieces around that did the job. I cannot say enough about this company and have told many how good they are. While I don’t look forward to spending the money on siding I do look forward to seeing how different our house will look. Thank you for a great job and making me look like a great guy to my wife for not having to spend our entire bank account on our roof. Talk to you very soon.

I was super impressed by how well they cleaned up after themselves and how wonderful they were with my kids running around – always wanting to see what they were doing. Elite Exteriors, LLC installed Hardy Plank siding on our 4,000 square foot home as well as installed a large picture window in our second floor. We moved into our home about three years ago. Our home was painted brick on the first floor and cedar siding everywhere else. We knew that we needed to either paint everything which would include a carpenter to replace a large percentage of the cedar siding due to rotting wood or replace it with some other material. After a lot of research on siding materials I found that Hardy Plank was what we wanted to replace our cedar siding with. Hardy Plank comes with a 30 year warranty and the only recommended company by the James Hardy company was Elite Exteriors. I was extremely pleased with the response I received from Elite Exteriors. They were very communicative from the beginning of the project. They were also able to fit us in right away and accommodated our schedule. The crew they sent out was beyond wonderful. Not only did they do an impeccable job with their instillation but they were pleasant to have around. The Job site was kept as clean as possible considering the work that was being done. I would absolutely recommend Elite Exteriors without hesitation.

I called Elite Exteriors looking for a range of options for siding and roof repair on my home. I got to talk immediately with Scott and he addressed my questions and concerns in a timely and professional matter, taking time out of his busy schedule to offer information. Scott was very honest in his assessment of my home, looking at digital photos and inspection information to gauge the severity of my issues. In the end, although he could easily have said I “needed” work to get a contract, his honest opinion was that my house was structurally fine and needed no work (save for cosmetics) at that time. We moved into a new home in September. During the first big rain of the following spring we had water leaking into our kitchen. We gave Scott a call right away. He came out on a Sunday afternoon to check it out. He found that the previous owners had installed the flashing on our roof incorrectly. Within a short period of time they came out and fixed it for us. We have not had any leaking since. We would highly recommend Elite Exteriors they were great to work with, quick to respond, and did great work.

Scott came out to our house to see what needed to be done to stop a leak in my skylight. He thought he arrived a little late but was actually right on time. He advised me that it was most likely a seal that needed to be re-caulked. He advised that if further damage was found he would let me know and give me an estimate. From the start we could tell we were dealing with a quality organization. The estimate came quickly and we were walked through what we were paying for. We had several estimates and Elite Exteriors came in the lowest, much to our relief, as they were our first choice before seeing any prices. The job started on time and, in spite of some additional work, ended on time as well. During the tear off, it was discovered we needed some wood to be replaced. Elite Exteriors walked us through, immediately, what we were looking at and worked with us to contain costs. At the end of both days, the work site was nice and tidy. Elite Exteriors was a pleasure to work with. I purchased my house in late November 2014 knowing that the roof would need to be replaced. A few leaks showed up with this spring’s snow melt. I called a few companies for estimates. Scott was very clear and straightforward when he came to do an estimate. No high-pressure sales tactics. Very clear about what materials were going to be used and about the warranty. Elite Exteriors had the best price and the nearest available start date, so I went with them.
The initial estimate was that the roof would take one day. Due to unexpected structural oddities, the roof took a second day to complete. Scott Elite Exteriors was very clear in communicating the reason why the project was taking longer than expected, and was clear in explaining that there would be an increase in the final cost. For the extra time and labor needed, the increased cost was very reasonable. The crew arrived on time each day and did excellent work. The flashings around all the valleys, the chimney, the plumbing vents and the skylight were all expertly done. Old, inefficient square vents were removed in favor of ridge venting along all ridges. The project was done in 40 degree weather, but the shingles laid down very quickly, which points to the quality of work the crew did. Scott Elite Exteriors promised his crew would use six nails per shingle, which is exactly what they did. Along with the quality of workmanship, they were very thorough in their cleanup. I did not find any nails or bits of roofing material left behind after the first day or after the project was completed. The job involved the tear-off of two layers of very old shingles, along with flashings that were rusted through in many places. The fact that I could not find any mess left behind points to the care with which Elite Exteriors does their work.
All in all, I was very satisfied with Elite Exteriors LLC and would recommend them without reservation to anyone who needs to have a new roof installed.

We had a skylight that was leaking and had contacted a couple other contractors. The first two contractors took over a week to get out and give us an estimate. He believes that frost during the winter was cause of the issue, and recommends that I simply insulate more where the moisture appeared (since there seems to be a lot of cold air coming in where we opened up the ceiling). He believes that the roof is in good shape, and there’s no cause for doing any expensive roof repairs at this time. I appreciate the simple recommendation to start rather than suggesting expensive repairs. I will definitely contact him if there does seem to be an actual roof leak.

Elite did an amazing job on our house. We are in the process of a kitchen remodel which required some exterior and prep work beforehand. Elite began with blocking off a door and a window. Then they converted a window into a patio door, replaced the door between our kitchen and garage, replaced a screen door, and replaced a window. Finally, they replaced our old siding (some wood, some vinyl) with James Hardie siding, and put in new soffits, fascia, and gutters. Finally, we asked them to fix our leaking chimney, and they determined that it was actually the roof that was leaking due to the incline. So we also got a new, rubber roof. All was done well, promptly, and professionally!

Elite Exteriors replaced the roof on our primary residence, due to hail damage and also replaced the roof, siding and fascia/soffits on a rental house we own, which was also damaged by hail. And both skylights (one at each house) were replaced. Scott was excellent to work with. He was very responsive to getting back to us when we had questions and got our two houses done in a timely manner. We asked him to take care of a problem we were having with our bay windows leaking in our basement. He diagnosed the problem and had that issue taken care of as part of the roof job, which solved an issue we’d been dealing with for going on several years, but just didn’t know how to fix it. Scott uses quality materials and takes great pride in making sure his customers are satisfied with the job. The siding job at our rental looked fantastic when it was finished and will be a great advantage someday down the road when we decide to sell, as it now has a maintenance free exterior. I highly recommend Elite Exteriors for any roofing, siding, gutter or skylight jobs you might need done.

They did a fantastic job. The work is completed as far as they can go. They still have to put the gutters back on. Everything works fine, and the house is in great shape even with snow. Even if they come by at the end of winter to finish the gutters, it’s fine. They were extremely efficient and clean. I would recommend them to anybody. They were very professional. They showed up when they said they would. If they couldn’t make it, they gave us a call and told us that. The price wasn’t the cheapest and it wasn’t the most expensive, but I thought it was fair.
